Marion Wheel A Thon

Goodwill Wheel-A-Ton – Saturday, May 19th

It’s a relay race around the track and the spectators are cheering fervently for their racing friends. The racers are red-faced as their gloved hands pump the wheels furiously. The crowd laughs as several racers learn that driving a wheelchair is harder than it looks, going straight when you want to turn, or backwards when you want to go forward. The leader boards change and the excitement builds on the road to the final four.

Who will win this year? Hopefully your team!!! But the definite winners will be the men, women and families who benefit from the services of Goodwill Industries.

We invite you to join us on Saturday, May 19, 2018 for our 28th annual fund-raiser as a participant or spectator. The Wheel-A-Thon helps you learn first-hand about the challenges and barriers people with disabilities face on a daily basis.

Goodwill Industries is a non-profit organization that has served the “Heart of Ohio” for over forty years.

The proceeds from the Wheel-A-Thon support our programs and services. Goodwill’s Workforce Development Department and Mission Services programs help individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment explore possible careers, prepare for the job market, and find appropriate employment opportunities within their community.
