Goodwill has a rich history of strengthening communities, empowering job seekers and improving lives. Because of your support we are able to carry out our mission of Building Lives That Work.
Goodwill is most commonly known for its retail stores, but many people are unaware of how important our stores really are. In addition to the jobs that are created within each store, donations of gently used belongings help Goodwill repurpose both material items and lives.
Last year we diverted more than 4 million pounds of items from landfills by repurposing goods from over 276 thousand material donors. Revenue from these donations allowed Goodwill to help individuals and families repurpose their lives.
In 2018, we were proud to help nearly 5,000 individuals. In the future we are committed, with your support, to continue to carry out our mission of Building Lives That Work.
